May at the RRC...at our new location!

I hope May is filled with all the flowers that April promised. 

On our end, we've had a busy May over here. A few updates: 

1- First up, we’ve officially moved! If last month's post was titled "The RRC is moving", then this month really should be "The RRC has moved".

The new home of the RRC is 642 Kreag Rd. You can read more about it here if you missed last month’s newsletter. The space is still a work in progress, but it’s really coming along.  If you’ve been in the past couple of days, we really appreciate your flexibility and understanding. It's truly going to be great!

If you haven’t been yet, here are a couple important updates:

• We're on the second and third floor. We played a fun game of musical offices while some of the spaces finished up, but everyone is getting settled this weekend in their permanent spaces. 

• The waiting rooms are immediately to the left when you arrive on the floor. 

• The third floor waiting room is our quiet waiting room and has a table for parents to work. 

• There are two family bathrooms on each floor (right across from the waiting room).

2- We will continue with our group program over the summer. If you’re interested in continuing with group or joining a new group, please feel free to reach out to your child’s therapist, contact me, or simply respond to this newsletter. 

We plan to offer the following groups over the summer (please note that it will depend on how many families are able to attend): 

• Social Skills 

• Friendship & Emotions 

• Teen Anxiety Group 

3-RRC summer bingo will be making a return this summer, beginning in June. Stay tuned!
